More than any country I have encountered, America is founded upon ideas, or maybe ideals better describes it. Despite the fact that ideas and ideals are just words, it is sometimes hard to find a vocabulary fit to describe the country; I fail even to find words for my own feelings about it. This series is as close as I may ever get to being able to do either.
